Gas & Tyre has a proud history of keeping Northland moving for over 30 years. Back in 1959, our founder Bruce Miller, started managing the tyre, lubricant and gas divisions for a local Dargaville company. His reputation for fast, friendly and reliable service, quickly spread throughout the community. In 1988 Bruce purchased those divisions from his employer and Gas & Tyre was born.  

Bruce's son John Miller continues the legacy of exceptional customer service at Gas & Tyre today, as one of Gas & Tyres two Directors.

With plenty of parking onsite and complimentary tea and coffee available you will be comfortable waiting in our customer lounge. We are also handy to the shops if you need to run some errands while we take care of your vehicle.
